SUMMARY:A Life Between Books and Theatre: A Human Library with Yadollah Agha Abbasi (Middle East Chapter)
DESCRIPTION:This hybrid Human Library event\, organized by the ASIS&T Middle East Chapter\, will feature Professor Yadollah Agha Abbasi as the invited “Human Book.” Professor Agha Abbasi has an academic background in library and information science and a long and distinguished career in theatre and performing arts in Kerman. Through an informal and personal conversation\, he will share his educational and professional journey\, experiences in librarianship and the performing arts\, and his years of cultural and artistic engagement with the people of Kerman. The approximately two-hour program will include an introductory session\, a personal talk and storytelling session with the Human Book\, an open and interactive question-and-answer session with participants\, and a light reception to encourage informal conversation and networking. The event will be conducted primarily in Persian and will be offered in a hybrid format\, allowing approximately 20-25 participants to attend in person in Kerman and 10–15 participants to join online from across Iran.
