Research is an essential skill for both students and working professionals in today's knowledge-driven world. This webinar will introduce participants to the fundamentals of evidence-based practice and the research process, including finding and evaluating literature, collecting data, conducting ethical research, and collaborating effectively with others. The session will also explore practical strategies for publishing research, building research partnerships, and integrating scholarly inquiry into professional practice. Participants will learn how involvement with the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) can support career growth through networking, mentoring, research collaboration, leadership opportunities, and professional engagement.
